Analogies are the fundament of ontology. I think. That is, everything references each other and applications could be made through scaling. For example: the dream has time passing in instances, and that may be because connections are being made wildly all over.
Now, my waking life also has time passing relatively quickly too (though not as instantaneous) and I seem to be easily distracted – what if, then, to focus on one is to view the second, or if it’s none – metaphorically stop time itself?
What if emotions modulate this capability of biological organisms?
And when a connection is analogous, how can one verify which causes which? Is my blocked nose an analogy to anxiety, or does the latter cause the former?
