Could the meaning of life be merely to perceive – the desire for matter to just shift towards feeling? For, what purpose would water have if it couldn’t feel how fresh it may be?
Could emotion be the fundament of life, as logic is for the physical?
Could then the universe have as an objective its own understanding – through the right medley of both – until it sighs, as a sign of relief, for finally understanding its nature?
On the subjective level we are to see what each unique feeling consists of – life, the very atomic model of all holistic existence – and to accomplish this understanding until (hypothetically) matter becomes the perception itself to form the basis of the cosmos.
Suicide may be the end result of the above process – matter (or detachment from it) becomes the percept itself and annihilates the system (what if, possibly, as this is also the physical state of an encounter between matter and antimatter, that perceiving – or consciousness itself (or mind) – is the latter and their mutual destruction is, on the other hand, the eschatological (ultimate) purpose of the universe?).
Does this all imply, then that understanding life destroys it? Science merely being the harbinger of its own doom? Light solely disabling its own 'light at the end of the tunnel', with darkness being just a spectator?
In the end, is this why there is still a quintessential beauty to nothingness in itself (it being the result of destruction) – this being the inevitable destination of life (death)?

What if the mind – the brain in biological systems – is representative of the inversion of localized space? That is, it is not so much in contrast to physicality as it is one ‘side’ of a Möbius strip. This, in turn, acts as yin and yang for all sensation and perception – this may be why, hypothetically, history seems to not only repeat itself, but invert its stances (slavery e.g. for an externality – and humanity’s approach to hallucinations for something more subjective; how they were once made divine, only to think of them as raw mental illness some thousands of years later – this, I propose, is neurological evolution).

With regards to coincidence, it may be that the moment fits in at exactly the right chemistry (how one feels ‘ready’ e.g.) and that, even if multiple trials were conducted, statistically it is unlikely because said chemistry (at times almost a perfect match – which is statistically improbable in a lab, but not considering the whole universe) is rarely possible through a definitive number of tests.
This may, I think, apply to any kind of situation where complex interaction takes place (social; mental) and is often mistaken for ‘luck’, which leads to logical fallacies.
(I got this idea from the notion that a random person may join a musical band in the street and be accepted successfully and harmoniously (mentioned in a radio broadcast) – unlikely to be realistic, even if attempted in laboratory conditions with multiple subjects etc. but if someone, out of the hundreds of thousands (in a city) that pass by a band, out of all the time it’s played in that location, happens to already have musical capabilities and it just so happens that they know the song, then clearly with the right chemistry this is possible, if unlikely.)

Analogies are the fundament of ontology. I think. That is, everything references each other and applications could be made through scaling. For example: the dream has time passing in instances, and that may be because connections are being made wildly all over.
Now, my waking life also has time passing relatively quickly too (though not as instantaneous) and I seem to be easily distracted – what if, then, to focus on one is to view the second, or if it’s none – metaphorically stop time itself?
What if emotions modulate this capability of biological organisms?
And when a connection is analogous, how can one verify which causes which? Is my blocked nose an analogy to anxiety, or does the latter cause the former?

My mind seemed to be in a slight jumble today; not as confused as yesterday, although still not productive. Thought once more about differentiation of creativity consumed, or one that is authored. What does an inspired creator intend to convey, on a psychological level?
For example, if I am simply elated by a piece of work that many others denounce; might not be easy to get to, but what might the author think of such a situation? And more interestingly: has the inspiration even been of such similar elation, as well? Or rather, has my mind filled in some blanks to convey an even more fulfilling experience that the creators might miss out on? I noticed this happening at least once.
This can further be abstracted to ask "how does art interact with the mind?" - and, do we take our experiences for granted...at least until they change or die? Should we rather live for the moment and dissuade ourselves from meta-analysis, in an attempt to reach an understanding of the psyche and replicate the astounding experiences we might have unintentionally had, in order to truly enjoy novel ones?

Writing this down, instead of typing, since I'm thinking one can evaluate one's psychological state from the observation of these handy muscles. I'll be writing down the ruminations in a day, with the faint hope of making thinking more efficient - and, possibly, one's feelings.

For a moment today, while experiencing something other than my mind, I had this glimpse of a present without the encumbrance of meta-thinking - the moment unhindered by thought, as most of my time is. It's passed my mind a few more times, but what if every moment is being ruined by worrying about its being ruined? That is, can I ever just experience and not necessarily ruminate upon the idea that I'm not experiencing the moment in all its possibilities?
After all, it's what used to be done nearly every single day, whilst younger, and enjoy the moment even more (of course, the reduction of which caused the ruminations in the first place).

When I 'felt' like I was seeing behind my eyelids, was I merely dreaming that I was doing that, and if so why is it such an uncommonly strange dream?
If anything I'd cultivate an interest in its psychological aspects - although, besides the viable logical observations there do not seem to be qualitative experiences to be held; subjectivity is inevitable, and as such I embrace it.
Why is it that sometimes we seem to notice ourselves dreaming as soon as we drift to sleep, but most other times it is only hours thereafter?
Ultimately, how exactly does our waking reality interact and actively alter our dreams? Are they possibly two sides of a coin, or even a collage?

We may possibly exist through the prism of our thoughts - that is, we are naught but the extent of our cognitive facilities.
What may have limited that capability of mine (ergo, the spectrum of all life) is fear - emotions mold our thinking; essentially, rationality is the final by-product that comes only *after* feelings are processed: thus, we live what we feel. Fear is a constrictor - it naturally prevents and makes the organism fundamentally worry about its existence, and as such fear restricts the thinking processes solely to 'survival'.
This is why I seem to have revolving tunnels of the same kind of thoughts (that in turn translate into the same set of 'expressive' actions [whether directed at something or simply moving]).
In evolutionary terms, is everything directed at initially the development of feelings, and ultimately thoughts? Why is there necessarily this duality, or could this possibly be the illusion of the ego (with the separation due to logic being more resonate with individual pride)?
Could the result of these be a predictor of determinism?

I was wondering why I oftentimes feel as if my 'position' on anything can only be neutral - or disaffected. That is, I may form an initial reaction, as do most (if not all) people, but then, through a process of deduction I seem to always come to this conclusion in which I simply cannot decide (although usually there is no need for any decision, and as such this may be moot) - I may understand the different standpoints, but I just can't see myself 'supporting' either of them.
If I'm to be an idealist then, I suppose, this may be the result of knowing the 'big picture', coming to terms with differing views and leaving undecided as I can see merits in all of them; the cynic, though, which I suspect might be more realistic (although, how am I to decide?) - would be that I have difficulty attaching myself to 'any' concepts: I enjoy reading about abstract notions, but can't 'feel' anything, as people do e.g. with political ideologies.

What happens when we lose ourselves? Not just our life - our direction, but that essence we used to assume is ourselves, our personality at its depths?
Do we merge into the 'other'? Do we become what we perceive?
When we watch a movie and end up thinking the main character is cool we, at a base psychological level, assume their movie persona. This naturally results in people wearing the same clothes etc outwardly - or sunglasses a'la Neo - but what is even more fundamental is our characteristic usurpations - moving in the same way, almost thinking in the same way. Dichotomies might be simple reductionism but they may be useful for illustration of clarity - as such, I'm doing some thinking on what might represent the spectrum occupying the aforementioned dissipation of the self and its potential opposite, fullness of the self (for lack of a better description).
What if this might be as simple as autism on one end and psychosis on the other?
Dissipation, thought, or dissociation (perhaps the process itself) would not all be fear-based.
One might be frightened that the self they've known all their life is disappearing (even episodically) but temporarily forgetting their existence, for most people, is entirely joyful.
I believe the essence is the same, except that the former is unexpected and the latter subjectively initiated.

I fear living dead. Existing without feeling; moving around without really going anywhere; having thoughts without truly thinking. This, as I have for the last seven years - time that has passed by like a flash within a thunderstorm, for only within the space in between life and death does the nature of time reveal itself.
While alive the moment expands, as if the mind is infinite and nothing that is composed of matter comes in between will and desire.
But in death - as in the destruction of the moment - this perceived space constricts and the mind's only goal quickly becomes that of reaching the end.

Should we rather live for the moment and dissuade ourselves from meta-analysis, in an attempt to reach an understanding of the psyche and replicate the outstanding experiences we might have unintentionally had, in order to truly enjoy novel ones?

These mostly concern two items, seemingly 'intra-sensual' that are identified with each other. Not an incidental connection like a scent and a situation - in the mind while asleep, it seems, the couple of sense data are each other, for all waking consciousness knows: it won't even see a connection.
Overall, if consensus was established among rational minds, what might be the greatest technological possibility that one can experience?
Certainly, would it not be most ecstatic if any single person can, somehow be able to instantly shift their mode of consciousness (with all consequent variables of perception) to that of another creature? In turn, if it is life other than ourselves - different species - what incredible opportunities for learning would appear, as if out of the nothing?
To understand the very last atom of life outside of oneself - possibilities for creation would evolve like fractals; an ocean of infinite knowledge.
All forms of communication would appear indeed sisyphean, for what are they but sieves for crumbling dust?
Communication - even direct language - often fails at the point of expression, words with far more limitations than thought can conceive. Then the impossibility of interpretation by what can only be described as the observers - mere models, far removed from the platonic ideals, is what understanding between lives currently consists of.

What, then, do we make of others that life is strangely attracted to but doesn't feel necessary for survival (even is some of it may be used as food, but most isn't) like psychedelics? Humanity has used such substances for quite some time, historically, but has recently stopped. Survival is certainly something likely without consuming these wild things of the Earth, but what if - in the long-term, on an evolutionary scale our "spiritual" dimension starts to erode (which is really a metaphor for the mind) - as that's the purported nourishment tribes received in their rituals. Food maintains us physically, but that is short-term, as is sleep, and only after so long in history have neuroses, depression and others been detailed. Humanity may have become fearful, but is this possibly an evolutionary reaction driving a species extinct by their mental processes?
